Over many years working in the bike business here in Southern Spain, the social side of it has been a mainstay ever since our venture started, and our favorite day of the week is Saturday, when we get together with friends and anyone who happens to be around at the time, and go for a bike ride. Sometimes we’ll be on the road, sometimes off it, mainly circular routes starting from one of our shops and ending at our café, but on occasions we venture further afield and jump in a bus with our bikes in a trailer. Our rides, as we always say, are relaxed affairs and we try and make sure that everyone gets home safe and sound.
So if you ever in Málaga on a Saturday morning with nothing better to do, come and explore the stunning scenery just a few minutes away from the city centre.

This week we were back on the gravel bikes, and back in the Montes de Málaga. Honestly, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted and the dog walkers, mountain bikes, hill runners, asparagus collectors were all bouncing around talking about the cascades that hadn’t seen water in over a decade, and the sheer quantity of wild flowers everywhere you look.

My big event of the year is just 2 weeks away, so now that the period of rains seems to have ceased, I’ll be getting some miles in the legs in preparation for Utopia Gravel Fest!
